#write31days – Day 8

I can’t put the real title on this one.  I’ve decided that the title “Organizing the Freezer” goes against the fiber of my being.  Freezers should never need to be organized.  I store a tiny amount of food in the freezer.  Popsicles, frozen waffles and usually some meat waiting to be defrosted and that never stays in there for longer than a few days.  Also, organizing a freezer is possibly the most boring thing ever on earth.  I know you’re dying for a before and after:

Freezer Before

Freezer After

Are you still with me?  Basically, I emptied the freezer, then remembered to take a picture (dumb blogger) and then I wiped everything down with a sponge and put everything back.  I know, amazing, right?

So, how do I redeem this post that is just beyond boring?  I want to talk about this challenge, #write31days.  It may not be the most enthralling topic and that’s definitely a lesson I’ve learned for next year, but it is reminding me of what motivates me. I’m competitive by nature (ask me about bowling at a baby shower this weekend and beating my 10 year daughter, my elderly mother and my cousins fiancee.  I smoked those fools).  Committing to this challenge has ignited that competitive fire and I will finish it, no matter what.  Having the proper motivation has shown me that I’m not *that* tired when I get home from work.  I can spend 10-30 minutes on a project.  I have to remember this and apply it to other areas of my life.  Actually, I already have a secret project I am working on alongside the #write31days challenge that I will be revealing at the end of the month.  And bam, just like that I dropped a bomb and turned this post around.

Have I hooked you??
