Friday, finally.
I feel like Spring in the Northeast doesn’t have a beginning. It has a battle to the death with winter and eventually wins. Wednesday was beautiful, sunny and warm. Spring kicked winter’s butt that day. But winter blasted spring in the face on Thursday with 60 mile per hour winds. Today was an evenly fought battle with downpours, sunshine and warmth. I’ll call it a tie. Winter is about to pull out the big guns on Sunday, though. Snow showers.

I think this quote by ee cummings sums up early spring in New England. Right before everything blooms and gets all fancy.
