I was a little bored with yesterdays task of organizing the pantry, but today’s very similar task of organizing our spices gave me a little injection of inspiration to keep up with this project. Why, you ask? Let’s take a peek at the before and afters and see if you can tell what has me revved up:
Messy, non-functional and some type of yucky stain (soy sauce, I think?). And the big problem is the opposite of what you normally find with organizing projects. There wasn’t enough stuff in there. I wanted to have more of my baking stuff in there, but the shelves were configured in a way that nothing taller than spices really fit in there. Here’s the after:
See what I did there? I took out the top shelf. And I wiped down the shelves. That’s it. This task took maybe 12 minutes, but it’s something that has always bugged me about my kitchen and I’m so glad I finally took the time to just do it.
