It’s almost here guys. Â The big 4-0. Â It’s less than a month away. Â I’ve never been one to really freak out about birthdays, but I do have a sense of gravity with this one. Â Not in a bad way, though. Â I feel like now that my kids are getting older (11 and almost 8), I can spend some time figuring out what I want to do with the next 40 years. Â And that’s pretty exciting.
But, the most important part of birthdays, of course, is PRESENTS! Â Just kidding. Â Sort of. Â No, I’m not. Â I’m dead serious. Â I’m all about the presents. Â And I’m calling this the Go Big or Go Home Year. Â Here’s what I want.
No explanation needed right? Â Actually, true confession. Â I had a pair of these. Â And I lost one. Â It was an awful, awful feeling.
Not the first one, but any one of the last four, would be truly appreciated.
I’ve been wanting to learn to sew forever. Â Not easy to do if you don’t have a sewing machine, right?

I drool over this 30 pack of clay every time I go to Michaels. Â I just can’t get myself to shell out $30 for it.
I read an explanation of why a tripod is important to low light photography and it was very enlightening. Â This is a must.
I just looked back at this list. Â It’s a little ridiculous. Â But, you know what, I’m going a little selfish after 40.
